It’s not the Same, but Similar.

A year before Jack Kendrick’s debut album - Same Mistakes - was recorded with his then-new band The Broken Wonders, Jack recorded all of the tracks solo. After some time however, these recordings were misplaced and presumed lost, so Jack re-recorded the album with the full band for the album we’ve all come to love.

A few weeks before the album’s first anniversary however, the lost original take of the album was discovered, so in time for the anniversary we have tidied the album up and are thrilled to present this original, alternative and unseen version, aptly titled ‘Similar Mistakes’.

Featuring alternative arrangements, different versions and a previously unreleased track, this album is a must for any fan of Jack’s first album. This album also won’t be available online, so grab a copy while they’re available!

Jack Kendrick is your friendly neighbourhood guitarist guy based in Lincoln, UK.

Jack Kendrick isn't your typical solo artist, normally found with his band The Broken Wonders who are an English punk/rock/folk band based in Lincolnshire . Inspired by artists such as Frank Turner, Gaz Brookfield, Flogging Molly and Ferocious Dog. Jack takes elements from Punk, Country and traditional folk to create his own style of music which is surely to get you wanting to be involved.

Jack had been playing live shows for the best part of 15 years, for 5 of those years Jack was in a band called Mellow Facility playing every show they could ranging from small intimate venues to large festivals. After the band’s split in 2017 Jack set out on his own and has kept playing any and every live show he possibly could. He has been aired on BBC Introducing several times over the years as well as performing a live lounge session for them and along side this he has been one of their featured artist twice.

With the release of his debut studio album, Same Mistakes, Jack stepped up his game with gigs across the country both solo and with The Broken Wonders. Now with his Next Chapter beginning, as well as starting out on the festival scene. Jack has also been supporting musicians like Gaz Brookfield, Nick Parker, Harrison Rimmer, The Leylines and Shanhai Treason, so you'll surely be seeing Jack in your town soon.
