Matt ‘Tango’ Ellerby is a fantastic Linconshire musician, artist and TEDx speaker who has delighted audiences across the county and beyond for many years.
Matt’s songwriting is hypnotic and engaging, frequently featuring folk-lore and tales of old, as well as local history and the odd monster here and there. Supporting that is his insane repertoire of musical instruments; it seems like you could hand him any instrument and he’ll nail it.
Matt’s first album with us, ‘Welcome to the Half-Moon Hotel’ is a culmination of years of work and dedication, and the results are astounding. Beautifully written, skillfully composed and with a flow that modern albums can only hope to achieve; this has been in regular rotation at Yellowbelly HQ since its release!
