Sacred Starfish is what happens when a really talented musician does a one-off faecal related song as a joke, but so many people kept enjoying the joke that not only did it long outstay its welcome, it kept evolving and somehow became popular enough to get a dedicated fanbase.
We’re honestly not sure why we decided to take their originals and remix them for release on the EP ‘Polished Turds’, but the musicianship is honestly superb and the band are all super lovely and down to earth. Though it is very hard to get past the lyrical aromas, the band shows some true promise, and we look forward to seeing where these guys go when they can finally escape the faecal fans.
Then again, they’re getting a heck of a lot of shows from it, so maybe we’re out of touch with the poop-lovers of the nation?
